This is a free digital SFW Genshin Impact zine featuring certain Vision holders of each element showcasing them and their elemental abilities.Each volume of this series will focus on an element with themes and characters surrounding that element, exploring Vision application, lore, etc.Eliciting Fate's debute Volume's element is PYRO.An "allogene" is someone in Teyvat that has particularly strong desires and have the potential to ascend to Celestia by the gods' standards. Eliciting Fate as a series will explore what fate really is and what it means to be an allogene.The gaze of the gods has been a blessing to be desired. Contributor Guildelines
Contributors will pick a character or a set of characters they'd like to feature in their piece. Other characters are allowed to appear in a minor capacity, but the featured character(s) should be the focus of the work.We want to feature as a wide variety of characters as possible, so slots for characters will be limited. Characters will be assigned as close to the first-choice preference as possible, but contributors are not guaranteed to be assigned their first choice.
General Guidelines
Work for the project and communications will be in English.
This is a SFW project.
Contributors must be at least 16 years of age as of February 7th, 2026:
Primary method of communication will be through Discord. Contributors will be required to make an account and join the project’s Discord server during onboarding.
Contributors will be expected to communicate regularly with mods which includes submitting work-in-progress during the scheduled check-ins on time, communicating any delays or setbacks that may occur, asking any questions, and communicating if they would like to drop from the project.
This project has a strict NO PLAGIARISM and NO AI Policy. This means contributors must create an original work for this project. Plagiarism does include and is not limited to: reusing preexisting works (including your own), heavily referencing preexisting works, tracing, etc. Any evidence of these violations can lead to that contributor being removed from the project and possibly being blacklisted from future projects.
Contributors are not allowed to publicly share their works until AFTER the zine is released. This includes works-in-progress.
Artist Guidelines
Artists will be required to make a full piece of their assigned character(s) showcasing themes or usage of their vision. The character you are assigned and their element must be the focal point of the piece, but you are allowed to include other characters and Visions within the piece.The artwork must be SFW and be PG13. Limited blood and sensitive themes.
Pieces must include full background and/or graphical elements.
Artists of any skill level and following are welcome. No previous zine experience is required.
Artists will submit 3 samples in the style they will use for their contribution.
They will also submit a portfolio with no more than 10 pieces (Can be Google Drive folder, website, etc. Please do not link social media posts or pages). Portfolios should be easily accessible. Please provide the appropriate tags and content/trigger warnings for NSFW or samples that contain sensitive content.
Genshin Impact samples are highly encouraged but not required.

The character you are assigned and their element must be the focal point of the piece, but you are allowed to include other characters and visions within the work.
Writers of any skill level and following are welcome. No previous zine experience is required.
Writers will submit 3 samples written in the style they will use for their contribution.

FAQ
What is a Zine?
A zine or a fanzine is an independent and self-published collection of writing and artwork, usually in a book format.These projects can be collaborative or solo with subject matter ranging across many topics and fandoms.
Can I Apply for Multiple Roles?
Yes, but you will only be accepted into one position.
How Will Character Assignments be Given Out and Am I Guaranteed My Favorite Character?
Contributors upon intake will list the top 5 characters they would like to work on upon onboarding by filling out the intake form. Assignments will be based on giving contributors their top preference but also making sure we have an even distribution of characters showcased in the project.While we will try to assign everyone their preferred characters, you are not guaranteed to be assigned your top preference and depending on how the distribution looks, we will be assigned at least one of your 5 top preferred characters.
Am I Allowed to Include Non-Pyro Characters in My Work?
Yes, to a minimal degree, as we would like the main focus to be on the Pyro character.
Are AUs Allowed?
No, this will be a canon compliant project with some canon divergence allowed.
Are Ships Allowed?
Platonic ships are allowed to a minimum capacity and should not be the main focus of the piece.
